Springeratus caledonicus, known commonly as the Caledonian weedfish,[2] is a species of clinid in the genus Springeratus.[2] It is a tropical blenny found around New Caledonia and Australia, in the southwestern Pacific Ocean.[2] It was named by H.E. Sauvage in 1874, originally under the name Lepidoblennius caledonicus.[3]
